Why sample confirmation matters
Sample confirmation is the bridge between a buyer's idea and bulk production. The approved sample becomes the reference point for material, size, color, function, workmanship, packaging, and later production follow-up.
Confirm specifications in writing
Write down the product name, model, material, size, color, function, accessories, logo position, and target quantity. If a detail is only shown in a chat photo, it can be missed when production starts.
Check material and visible workmanship
Review surface, stitching, edges, coating, printing, smell, scratches, glue marks, and other visible details. For regulated or technical requirements, buyers should use qualified testing or professional review where needed.
Compare size, color, and function
A sample may look acceptable but still differ from the final order requirement. Check measurements, color references, functional details, accessories, plug type, label language, and other market-specific details.

Review packaging early
Confirm individual packaging, carton notes, hang tags, labels, stickers, barcode position, printed text, and whether a packaging sample needs separate approval.
Record changes clearly
If the sample needs revision, list each change clearly: material thickness, measurement, logo position, packaging strength, or label text. Broad comments such as improve quality are hard for suppliers to act on.
